Sheriff Jim H. Johnson is married and has one daughter. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Sheriff Johnson began his law enforcement career at age 19. Throughout his career, he has learned the value of treating people with fairness, honesty and respect. Sheriff Johnson was elected in 2003 to his first term in office. Prior to being elected, he served in many capacities:
