Medical - This unit is comprised of a physician, a nurse and dentist.  The physician provides medical assistance when needed, dispenses inmate medication and makes medical decisions regarding inmate care.  This division serves both the adult jail and the juvenile detention facility.  We are honored to have a successful partnership with the North MS Medical Family Residency Center.  They provide resident physicians, along with Dorthy McDaniel, RN and a part-time CNP, Nat Collins, to oversee inmate care. Our Medical Unit also houses our dentist, Dr. Jordan Lewis.
