VISITATION |
Visitation MUST be made THREE (3) days in advance to see any inmate. Visitation days are schedules based on the location (housing unit) of the inmate. The visitation schedule is as follows:
Monday - Pods A & B Tuesday - Pods C & D Wednesday - Pods E, F, & male holding
Thursday - Pod G & Female Holding Friday - Trustees Only Saturday - Lee Co. Work Center (old jail)
Visitors may schedule a 15 minute visit during the following hours: 1:00pm - 4:30pm, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
IF A VISITATION APPOINTMENT IS NOT MADE 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE, THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION.
An inmate can have two (2) adult visitors per week. Scheduled visitors MUST sign in with the Information Officer AT LEAST (15) FIFTEEN minutes before visitation time.
IF A VISITOR IS LATE OR DOES NOT SIGN IN 15 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED TIME, THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION.
All visitors are required to have a valid drivers license, valid state issued photo ID card, passport, valid immigration card, or a current military ID card to visit.
A dress code is enforced for visitations.
**Children under the age of eight (8) years of age are not allowed to visit an inmate, effective July 10, 2006. Children under eight (8) years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times and cannot be left in the lobby unattended for any reason. Adults must control their children and noise level in the lobby or they will be asked to leave.
There are NO contact visits permitted under any circumstances. These rules will be strictly enforced. Copies, of this information, are also posted in the lobby for your convenience.

PROPERTY |
When a person is booked in and is going to have to stay in our facility, he/she can have the following items one time only:
Three pairs of white socks
One box of envelopes
One paperback Bible
Three pairs of white underwear
One package of loose leaf notebook paper (no wire notebooks)
These items must be brought to the jail MONDAY - FRIDAY, 8am - 5pm to be inventoried by the Information Officer. If these items are not brought during the above hours, they will not be inventoried and given to the inmate.
In order to receive the above listed items again, the inmate will have to purchase them through the jail Commissary. To open an account, see the next section below.
The following items are furnished by our facility to each inmate: soap, razor, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush.

INMATE COMMISSARY |
Only the following items of legal tender will be accepted through the Lee County Jail:
Postal Money Orders
Bank Money Orders
Cashier's Checks
All checks or money orders must be made out and MAILED to the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail and the inmate's name should be listed on the "for" line.
ALL correspondence and money orders/cashier checks MUST be MAILED to:

Inmates can order $30 of commissary per week. Inmates will be given a receipt for all funds received.
